The 3's Checklist

Scripture:

"Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus," (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).

Application:

Before I leave the house I always check off in my head: phone, keys, wallet, (and chapstick). It's that mental checklist that I need to make sure I'm ready for the day.

I love these 3 verses and we should all put it at the doors of our homes: Rejoice, Pray, Give Thanks. These are daily things that God wants us to do and really, it's not that hard! I need to remember that "continual prayer" is simply talking to God or directing thoughts towards Him. It's that constant communication.
