I came across this verse in our Advanced Track reading and wanted to pray it immediately. It's an invitation for God to search us, remove anything that does not fit with God's way, and lead us in God's everlasting way. It is a prayer that will lead to the kind of life I sang about in this week's Friday Favorite on my MUSIC BLOG. The song is called "Live Like That" and is written by the Sidewalk Prophets. Triple wammy for our weekend: read the verse, pray the prayer, sing the SONG. Have a great one!
"Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting," (Psalm 139:23-24).
