ONE: Goodbook 12-13-13

Thanks for being patient with me while I was taking time off with our new baby girl.

Here is a neat thought for your Friday: you matter to God.

In my morning devotions, I read Luke 15.  Jesus tells several stories about how much every single one of us matter to God.  If one sheep went missing, if one coin went missing, if one child went missing ... it would be worth the search.  In the same way, if any one of us are lost or separated from God, it is worth the search for God.  God wants to take us in his arms and raise us to new life with God.

So the whole Jesus coming to earth thing, the whole Jesus giving his life thing ... if you were the only person ever created, if you were the only person ever alive, God would have done it all for you.  You matter that much to God.
