Following Jesus through Mark: Goodbook 10-9-17

The message this week was about how Jesus is: NO ORDINARY MAN. Jesus is an amazing teacher who performed amazing miracles and has an amazing impact on his followers and the world! At the end of the message, I left people with a challenge to help us follow Jesus closely this week. The challenge is to read through the Gospel of Mark with me. Below you will find some helpful tips and a reading plan.

Helpful tips

• You can read or listen to the Gospel of Mark using our GOOD SHEPHERD APP.
• Mark is the second book in the New Testament. 
• Don’t worry so much about things you don’t understand. Focus on what you do. But feel free to ask questions along the way. 
• Reflect on these three questions after each day’s reading: 
• What is one lesson that you will take away from Jesus’ amazing teaching? 
• What was the most amazing miracle or action that Jesus did? 
• What is one action you will take in response to what you read so that Jesus can impact your life and your world in amazing ways? 
• Share your comments each day so we can encourage each other and grow together.

• Monday: Mark 1-2 
• Tuesday: Mark 3-5 
• Wednesday: Mark 6-7 
• Thursday: Mark 8-10 
• Friday: Mark 11-12 
• Saturday: Mark 13-15
• Sunday: Mark 16
