Holy Week is underway. We typically highlight certain days more than others, like Good Friday and Easter, but there were significant events that happened on each day of Holy Week. I will share these with you throughout the week with a few reflection questions. Please feel free to share your responses in the comment section.
WEDNESDAY
Matthew 26:14-16 Then one of the Twelve—the one called Judas Iscariot—went to the chief priests and asked, “What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver. From then on Judas watched for an opportunity to hand him over.
- The woman we read about on Monday gave lavishly for Jesus. Judas wanted to see what he could get from Jesus. In what ways are you more like the woman? In what ways are you more like Judas?
- Money was more valuable to Judas than Jesus was. Often our values get reflected in how we spend our time and our money. Is there anything right now you are valuing more than Jesus? Are there any priorities that need to shift so you can devote yourself more fully to Jesus?
Please share your thoughts and ideas...
