MERRY CHRISTMAS: Goodbook 12-21-12

Dear Goodbook friends,

I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.  For Goodbook today, I wanted to share with you my favorite Christmas Scripture and my favorite Christmas song.  I would love it if you shared your favorite Christmas scripture and song.

Scripture:

"'[Mary] will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.' All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 'The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel' (which means 'God with us')," (Matthew 1:21-22).

  1. Thank you Pastor PJ. God bless you and your family and may you all have a Merry Christmas.

My favorite Christmas passage is from Luke 2:8-14, to which I affectionately refer to as the Linus speech.

My favorite Christmas song is O Come O Come Emmanuel, though I'm really warming up to your version of Little Drummer Boy with those open string chords. 8~D

    1. Thanks for sharing! Glad you liked "Little Drummer Boy." It's a spin off of the version that Jars of Clay does.
