KINDNESS: Goodbook 12-11-12

Tomorrow is a special day: 12-12-12.  It's a once in a lifetime aligning of numbers.  I like to mark special days by doing special things.  Many thought the world would end in 2012 with a big explosion.  Well, what if we hit this world with an explosion of God's kindness?  What if on 12-12-12 we did 12 acts of kindness for others?  Maybe this year could be a new beginning rather than an end.

Scriptures:

"But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without expecting to get anything back. Then your reward will be great, and you will be children of the Most High, because he is kind to the ungrateful and wicked," (Luke 6:35).

"Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you," (Ephesians 4:32).

"By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another," (John 13:35).

Kindness ideas:

-Open a door for someone
-Smile at a stranger
-Pay the bill for the person behond you in line
-Return someone else's shopping cart
-Let someone go in front of you in line
-Write a letter to someone who made a difference in your life
-Attend an event of someone important to you
-Be kind to someone you don't like
-Donate: money, books, clothes, etc.
-Encourage someone
-Give a generous tip
-Thank your parents
-Share a positive comment on your blog, Facebook page, or Twitter account
-Compliment someone
-Forgive someone
