YOU WRITE: Goodbook 04-15-14

I am reading Romans in my morning devotional time.  Today I read Romans 12.  I think this is one of the most powerful chapters on how to live for God and why to live for God.  I considered writing my thoughts on the passage, but I thought it would be way more fun to have you share your thoughts.  So....

You get help write the Goodbook message for today.  Here is what you can do:
  1. Read Romans 12
  2. Share what stood out to you from that passage.  Here are a few questions if you need help processing the passage:
    • What did you find helpful?
    • What did you find challenging?
    • What steps can you take to live more like this?

I looking forward to hearing your comments and application ideas...

  1. One of my favorite parts is right in the beginning with verse two. "... Be transformed with the renewing of your mind." I have been spending time lately trying to readjust my thought process. I have been a worse-case-scenario type person lately, and it's really hard to cope with these types of thoughts and still remain a positive, God-centered person. By renewing my mind hopefully I can begin to focus more fully on Gods purpose for me.

  2. I like the way this addresses us as members of our church family. Each of us has gifts, and we should use them for God's work, encouraging one another as we go.
