HOPE: Goodbook 08-04-15

When life gets hard and things get bad, it can be easy to lose hope - hope that life can get better, that people can change, that good can come from a difficult situation. One of the gifts God gives us is hope. We have a God who can make all things new, a God who can heal, transform, recreate, and resurrect. We have a God who can work miracles in even the most hopeless of situations. I've seen God do this in my own life and in the lives of others. I want everyone to know this Good News. No matter what you are going through, there is hope with God!

Below are 11 more encouraging verses that remind me of the incredible hope we have in God:

Psalm 130:7  "Put your hope in the LORD, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption." 

Revelation 21:5  "He who was seated on the throne said, 'I am making everything new!' Then he said, 'Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.'"

2 Thessalonians 2:16-17  "May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word." 

1 Peter 1:3  "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy we have been born anew to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead." 

Psalm 33:20  "We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. 

Romans 15:4  "For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope."

Psalm 25:5  "Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long."

Matthew 19:26  "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'"

Philippians 4:13  "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Ephesians 2:10  "For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago."

Psalm 73:26  "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."
